WARM-103
CONTEST RULES
1) No purchase is necessary to enter or win any prize in any contest. Contests are void where prohibited or restricted by law, and subject to applicable federal, state and local laws.
2) Eligibility requirements: WARM-103 contests are open to all persons aged eighteen (18) years or older and who are legal residents of the United States for a minimum of thirty (30) days prior to the start of this contest. Employees, officers, directors, partners, and agents of Warm 103, WSBA, 96.1 WSOX and its subsidiaries, their affiliated entities, advertising agencies, participating sponsors and promotional partners, their immediate family members, and those who reside with such employees are not eligible to participate in or win any prize associated with this contest. "Immediate family members" include spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, stepchildren, and grandchildren. Other restrictions may apply.
3) How to Enter, Win and Qualify: Participants may win only one (1) contest per household in a thirty (30) day period. Any prize won more than once in a thirty day period is forfeited by winner. There are no exceptions. There is no limit on the number of calls placed by a person to the Station in order to enter the contest; however, once selected as a winner the contestant may not re-enter a contest for a period of thirty (30) days.
4) If by reason of error more prizes are claimed than the number set forth in these rules, all persons making purportedly valid claims will be included in a random drawing to award the advertised number of prizes. No more than the advertised number of prizes will be awarded.
5) The odds of winning depend on the number of calls received by the Station. Warm 103 is not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone or other transmission failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; or incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmissions whether caused by the Station, users, by any equipment or programming utilized in the contest, or by human error which may occur in the processing of submissions, which may limit a contestant’s ability to participate in this contest.
7) ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES, IF ANY, ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS. The winnerS must authorize the deduction of such taxes, if any, from the prize to the extent of the law.
8) THE PRIZES ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE, NOT REDEEMABLE FOR CASH AND MAY NOT BE EXCHANGED FOR OTHER PRIZES, EXCEPT IN THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE STATION. THE WinnerS will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability, and publicity release and, AS APPLICABLE, ALL REQUIRED tax formS within ten (10) days of notification of winning the prize; failure to do so will result in disqualification and FORFEITURE OF THE PRIZE. Warm 103 reserves the right to substitute any of the listed prizes with a prize of equivalent or greater value. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, prizes will be awarded in the name of the winners only, and surrendered only to the specific winner in person upon the presentation of proper picture identification. If applicable winners must claim their respective prizes at Warm 103 offices located at 5989 Susquehanna Plaza Drive, York, PA 17406, or they shall be forfeited to Warm 103. If the winners do not meet the eligibility requirements for the contest at the time of prize conferring, he/she will be rendered ineligible to claim the prize, will be disqualified as a prize winner, and the prize shall be forfeited to Warm 103. UNCLAIMED PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED.
9) By participating in the contest, each contestant and winner agrees to waive any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury, loss of property or property damage that he/she may sustain as a result of his/her participation in the contest or the use of the prize, and to release Radio Stations Warm 103, WSBA and 96.1 WSOX, all contest sponsors and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with his/her participation in the contest, even though that liability may arise out of the negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.
10) By entry in this contest, the winners grant Warm 103 and its affiliates the right to any video, audio, photographic or print material involving the winners for promotional use without further permission or compensation. The winners agree to participate with the Station, its designee(s) and advertising agencies in publicizing or broadcasting the winners’ names, winnings, and his/her picture or character likeness without further compensation.
11) The decisions of Warm 103 with regard to the awarding of the prizes and the interpretation of these rules shall be final. All persons competing in this contest shall be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these rules. Entry in this contest grants permission to be contacted by the sponsors of the contest for future marketing efforts. Warm 103 reserves the right to terminate the contest earlier than the date listed or extend the length of the contest, if deemed necessary. Any deviation from these rules on the part of any contestant will render that contestant ineligible.
12) If after the contest has begun changes or updates to the rules are made, the changes will be announced at approximately 7:30 a.m. on the day that the change is to take effect. In addition, an addendum outlining the changes will be available at the Station lobby or on-line at www.warm103.com.
13) Warm 103, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or who is otherwise in violation of these rules. Warm 103 further reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the contest if it is determined that it is not capable of completion as planned due to tampering, technical failures or any other cause.
14) A complete copy of these rules can be obtained at the Warm 103 lobby, located at 5989 Susquehanna Plaza Drive, York, PA 17406,during regular business hours; on the Warm 103 website at www.warm103.com; or by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Warm 103 at the aforementioned address.
15) These rules may or may not be superceded by rules for a particular contest.
